Milad Adl is a guitarist and music producer of Turk-Persian origin, and his music style can be seen as a unique blend of different cultures and genres, combining elements of Persian music with Western music styles to create a distinct sound that showcases his technical skills and creativity as a progressive rock musician and film music composer. He is also best known as the Music Producer And the lead guitarist of the Iranian hard rock band Reza Yazdani.
Milad’s music style can be described as a fusion of Persian classical music and jazz, rock, and blues influences. He often incorporates complex rhythms, modal scales, and improvisation into his music, and he is known for his progressive arrangements and compositions. Some of his compositions also feature other traditional Persian instruments, such as the Setar and the Oud.
In 2013, Milad and his brother Behnam formed Close Encounters in Sweden, a side project that featured Milad on guitar & bass, and Behnam on vocals.
He is keen to point out that everything he listens to directs his musical development in some way. However, he would certainly include Tool, Audioslave, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theatre, Guns and Roses, Marty Friedman as amongst his biggest influences.
Finally, after honing his unique sound over recent years, he is now preparing to release his debut album, which underlies the changes that Milad has gone through over recent years. The biggest of these was the switch from Tabriz to Tehran And finally Istanbul, which has allowed him to develop as a person and has in turn profoundly aided his musical development.
